Programs and Tours
©WCSHello from Herbie the Flemish giant rabbit! Herbie is just one of the animals children can meet and touch in the Zoo's education programs. Our Education Department is dedicated to teaching youngsters and adults about wildlife and wild habitats through engaging, interactive classes and tours. Our offerings for adults, families, children, and teens include school programs, guided tours, family workshops, and summer camps. All programs require advance reservation.
Learning is an adventure when you enroll in one of Prospect Park Zoo’s education programs. Bring your class to the zoo for a program like no other, and if you're looking to make your educational visit a richer experience, we’ll come to your school for a pre-visit program. We offer a wide range of programs to enhance science curricula and educate and inspire diverse communities so they come to appreciate the wonders of wildlife and wild places.
Spend a day at the Zoo with your children and enjoy private exhibit viewings, themed activities, up-close animal encounters, and special celebrations.
