The Central Park Zoo’s Wildlife Theater Players perform interactive shows using drama, puppetry, games, and songs. Performances inspire audiences to learn more about their natural world and become part of its protection. The troupe works with schools, community centers, hospitals, camps, and at private events. Wildlife Theater is sponsored in part through a generous grant from Citi and the Citi Foundation.
The Brooklyn Cultural Adventures Program (BCAP) is an initiative of Heart of Brooklyn, a cultural partnership that includes Prospect Park Zoo and our neighboring partner institutions: Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Public Library, Brooklyn Children's Museum, and Prospect Park. BCAP Summer Camp is an innovative enrichment day camp creating lifelong links between youth and their cultural community. BCAP Adventures go behind the scenes at Brooklyn's most treasured cultural institutions and weave exciting connections between the arts, nature, and the sciences.
